(Kuala
Lumpur,
Sunday) : I
have sent feedback to the Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri
Mohamed Sidek Hassan on the land fraud involving a small number of land
office workers and fraudulent persons at the Gombak Land and District
Office.
We hope that Tan Sri Sidek will enquire into the case, ascertaining the
offenders and the accomplices within and outside the land office. A police
report has been lodged.
Towards the end of last year, fraudulent persons from within and outside
the Gombak Land and District Office attempted to transfer Lot 583, 2.504
hectar, Mukim Ulu Kelang, Daerah Gombak, from Lim Ean and Lim Hin, 2060
Jinjang North, to so-called Beh Kok Pheng and then Tan Eng Hock.
On <sidek@On> 23 May, 2007, Dr Tan sends feedback on the performance of
the civil service to Tan Sri Sidek who, since yesterday, has given his
email address, [email protected] and urged the public to send him feedback.
Two days ago, the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi
announced pay rise for 1.2 million civil servants, probably with the
additional expenditure of RM 4 billion. Although we don't know the actual
amount, the sum of billions of ringgits is huge. Many including the Prime
Minister and the Chief Secretary have expected the civil servants to
translate their
gratitude by improving productivity, work quality and delivery system. The
public must keep an eye on them.
On 18 May, 2007, Lim Ean and Lim Hin of 2060 Jinjang North received a
tipoff from a property agent that their land of 2.504 hectares at Lot 583
was fraudulently transferred to others. The Lims have engaged a lawyer to
find the evidence of the fraud: the fake identity card numbers, the fake
power of attorney, the fake stamps and so forth.
