Media statement by Dr. Hiew King Cheu in Kota Kinabalu on Monday, 9th April 2012:

BN empty promises

"Priority of BN is to deliver promises" said CM Musa Aman, and he said the BN is putting in much efforts to deliver the promises to the public and hear out their problems. He also said the Prime Minister Najib is doing his best too.

It is all "No Action but Talk Only" (NATO). It is loud and clear from what we can see today in Sabah, Sarawak, and in Malaysia as a whole, that many BN promises had not been fulfiled. It is easy for the BN to make promises, but when the time comes to delivery, it will be "stories telling time" and excuses!

The BN's empty promises are reflected and demonstrated by the low and weak economical status, high poverty rates, high corruption, low currency value, high prices of our essentials, high inflation, bad infrastructure , without further development, minimal industrial development, and among many other issues, the simple item on "food security" in the country still can not be fulfilled after all these years.

With the Federal government debts mounting up to RM456,100,000,000 and increasing, may be the BN through their PM Najib will make another big promise to the Malaysian that they will repay by the next general election.

With the PRU 13 coming soon, it is definite that BN will dish out whatever the goodies and promises they can think off. If we believe in them and vote for them, what come next, of cause it is confirmed that another round of empty promises will pay off. The bad kampong roads will remain as it is, coupled with no water and electricity.

The Sabah CM Musa Aman is always saying 'don't listen to the empty promises made by the Pakatan Rakyat', how does he know that the words from PR is not genuine and not true? Further more, we have proven that we can do better in the 4 states managed by PR and Sabah will be better managed if under PR administration. Musa is wrong, we don't promise, but the people will put their faith and trust in us to bring them the brighter future which they longing for.

It is time to change the "managers" who are running the country into jeopardy, deep hardship, and even bankruptcy. It is time for the Malaysian to think and evaluate their report cards. If the "managers" are cheating, corrupted, frequently abusing power, stealing, robbing, and making a lots of empty promises to their Bosses (the people), can we still use them? No doubt that we have to change our managers to someone we can trust and depend on, or else our company (MALAYSIA) will continue to suffer and sink further, or bankrupt?

We Malaysian shall stand together to engage a new team of clean, honest, and hard working 'managers' to run the country, and that is to vote for Pakatan Rakyat only.
