Barely one month to go before Malaysians go to the poll, Federal Territories Minister Tengku Adnan Mansor, who is better known as “Ku Nan”, has earned himself his label of being ‘mulut celupar’ (loose cannon).

If he has run out of topics to talk about in his ceramah circuit, Ku Nan should remain silent instead of giving Malaysians, especially from Christian background in both East and West Malaysia, more reason to boot Umno and Barisan Nasional from Putrajaya.

His mouth is known for spewing out anything but rubbish, in fact, ‘mulut celupar’ is too much of a flatter for someone who is more like a blatant fake news generator. His fake news is just so unbelievable. Although of hardly any substance, only those foolish enough would believe what he said.

It is time for Ku Nan to show proof that DAP is indeed a Christian evangelist party and I dare him to lodge a police report within the next 24 hours on who he is referring as ‘Christian evangelists’ who are a big threat to Islam, the Malay special privileges and the Malay language.

If he is afraid of lodging a false police report, then the IGP is obliged to initiate an investigation on Ku Nan under the new Anti-Fake News Act 2018 and other relevant laws for spreading seditious lies and hatred at two surau in Putrajaya yesterday.

At the same time, I also urge our Muslim imam and muftis to stop politicians in the likes of Tengku Adnan who continue to harbour ill intentions towards people of other races and religion, using suraus and mosques to spread ‘fake news’ and hate speeches. Such actions are in direct conflict with Islam, a peaceful religion.

More and more such unfounded lies will be spread from now until the polling day if our enforcement agencies refuse to do anything especially when it involves a top gun in the political arena.

This would inevitably hurt the harmonious multiracial society in Malaysia and may even escalate to a dangerous state. Act before it is too late, please!
