From the moment when you first walk into school, they are your anchors for knowledge and inquiry. Teachers do not only teach you numbers and alphabets, but they also teach you values, discipline and principles in life you will carry into adulthood. It is with these reasons why it is so important to celebrate and commemorate their sacrifice on this Teacher&#8217;s Day.<\/p>\n<p>Tributes have also poured in from DAP representatives on their social media accounts. Some have uploaded posters with &#8220;Happy Teacher&#8217;s Day&#8221; plastered across while some made a more personal note thanking their teachers for their hard work.<\/p>\n<p>For example, Dr. Kelvin Yii, MP for Bandar Kuching wrote about the late Mr. <span style=\"font-size: 1.56rem;\">Richard Meijin who was his Art teacher and also ISCF advisor. He was an English teacher in SM Sung Siew. Some may say it is a thankless job but how rewarding would it be to transform and inspire lives at a young age. Happy Teacher&#8217;s Day to all teachers.
