{"id":49769,"date":"2024-11-01T17:40:53","date_gmt":"2024-11-01T09:40:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dapmalaysia.org\/en\/?p=49769"},"modified":"2024-11-01T17:40:54","modified_gmt":"2024-11-01T09:40:54","slug":"govt-initiatives-benefit-all-including-indian-community","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dapmalaysia.org\/en\/govt-initiatives-benefit-all-including-indian-community\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt initiatives benefit all, including Indian community"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The initiatives and allocations provided by the government in various aspects such as health and education have benefited the rakyat, including the Indian community, said Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is evident through the Budget 2025 tabled by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim recently, which allocates RM130 million for various programmes, including business financing for the Indian community, to preserve human capital, and enhance social and welfare aspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Prime Minister also emphasised coordinating efforts to cater to the needs of Indian villages. Similarly, funding is provided through the Tekun Nasional for all races, while those under Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia are now expanded to benefit the Indian community,\u201d Gobind said at the 2024 Madani Deepavali Open House organised by his ministry today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gobind added that earlier this month, the Malaysian Indian Transformation Unit (Mitra) approved over RM95 million to carry out 11 socioeconomic development programmes, including RM3.4 million for the EC-Council Cyber Security Professional Certificate Training and Placement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The funding also includes RM25 million for the Early Admission Assistance Programme for Higher Education Institutions, with all these initiatives aimed at empowering the Indian community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dapmalaysia.org\/en\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/465168756_1088118082697908_8020453857646784796_n.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/dapmalaysia.org\/en\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/465168756_1088118082697908_8020453857646784796_n-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"465168756 1088118082697908 8020453857646784796 n\" class=\"wp-image-49774\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dapmalaysia.org\/en\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/465168756_1088118082697908_8020453857646784796_n-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/dapmalaysia.org\/en\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/465168756_1088118082697908_8020453857646784796_n-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/dapmalaysia.org\/en\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/465168756_1088118082697908_8020453857646784796_n-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/dapmalaysia.org\/en\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/465168756_1088118082697908_8020453857646784796_n-1536x1025.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/dapmalaysia.org\/en\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/465168756_1088118082697908_8020453857646784796_n.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>He stressed that the socioeconomic progress of the people must be in line with national development, including in digital aspects such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors and animation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe digital world can offer a new ray of hope for all of us.
