We stand in full support of the families affected by the recent flood in Arena Kepayang Putra, Ipoh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past three days, our DAP Kepayang service team, along with the Tindak DAP unit led by Sdr KK Wong, has undertaken the following actions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Coordinated with various government agencies to evacuate flood victims to shelter centers \u2705<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Distributed free bottled water to the affected families \u2705<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Mobilized over 350 personnel, including Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI), Bomba, and NGOs, to carry out cleanup efforts, clearing 285 metric tons of debris \u2705<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. The Department of Irrigation and Drainage (JPS) has constructed and raised a 600-meter-long river embankment, and a new pump will be installed immediately \u2705<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Disbursed RM255,000 in financial aid, with each family receiving RM1,000 \u2705<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. The MADANI government, through Sdr Nga Kor Ming, has approved RM108 million in flood mitigation projects to be tendered immediately \u2705<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. MBI is focusing on cleaning blocked drains and improving the irrigation system \u2705<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Secured CSR support from Pantai Hospital and the Perak Furniture Association to donate 200 mattresses to the affected families \u2705<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
