Secretary-General, Sdr Anthony Loke Siew Fook and Deputy Chairman of the DAP, Sdr Gobind Singh Deo has been named in Tatler Asia\u2019s Most Influential 2024, among other notable leaders and changemakers in Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to its website, every year Tatler Asia celebrates trailblazers across industries as they make a significant impact on society, culture and the economy in the region and throughout the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the platform\u2019s entry on Anthony Loke, who is also Minister of Transport, Tatler Asia pays tribute to his vision in transforming Malaysia\u2019s transport landscape with innovative infrastructure and advancements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLoke has taken the lead on multiple important projects during the past year to improve the public transport system. The Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) network is set to undergo significant upgrades with the introduction of 62 new passenger train sets, totalling an investment of RM10.7 billion aimed at addressing service quality and reliability\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile Gobind Singh Deo, who is also Minister of Digital is lauded for his work in driving the digital transformation and championing the future of connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGobind has made significant strides in advancing Malaysia\u2019s digital landscape. Additionally, Gobind has emphasised the importance of artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives and cybersecurity advancements\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
