1. MIC Deputy President Datuk Seri M. Saravanan, who claimed that MIC has been “cheated” out of Cabinet positions and feels like an “unwanted guest” in the Unity Government, it is important to address these concerns with clarity and directness.
2. Actions speak louder than words.
3. If MIC truly feels aggrieved and marginalized, it should demonstrate its convictions by resigning from all government positions without further hesitation.
4. One cannot enjoy the privileges of being in government, holding key roles, drawing salaries, and benefiting from the coalition, while simultaneously engaging in persistent criticism and discontent.
5. This approach undermines collective efforts and reflects a lack of commitment to shared goals.
6. I urge MIC to resign immediately and then take the time to reflect on its future role, free from the influence of current positions.
7. Only in doing so can any decision be made objectively and without bias.
8. Alternatively, let us set aside these grievances and collaborate earnestly to rebuild a stronger, more inclusive Malaysia for the benefit of all citizens.
