Press Statement by Chow Kon Yeow in Penang on Monday, 15th September 2008:  "Free Teresa Kok from detention under ISA" candlelight vigil in Penang on 16th Sept DAP Penang will be organizing the "Free Teresa Kok from detention under ISA" candlelight vigil night on the 16th Sept 2008 in Penang and Butterworth. The Candlelight vigil will be held at Gurney Drive roundabout from 9pm to 10pm. There will be another vigil held at DAP Raja Uda service centre retrospectively from 9pm to 10pm evening. The objective of the candlelight vigil night is to gather the voice and hearts of the citizens to advocate for justice. The DAP encourage all citizens to participate in this event to commemorate the detention of Teresa Kok and Raja Petra and the other detainees that has been held under the act. Participants are to bring along candles and placards to the vigil campaign. DAP Penang leaders, Parliament Members and State Assemblymen will also be joining the event.
