Media statement by Junz Wong in Kota Kinabalu on Thursday, 23rd September 2010:

Sabah Youth can no longer ignore

Youth can no longer ignore politic today as our future and political system will be determined by our younger generations. Politics has everything to do with youth but many of them are not awarded of it they are not aware of the importance to vote as they do not understand what the government does everyday has everything to do with their lives, their wealth, their employment, income level, social problems and so forth in one way or another. Malaysia is becoming less and less competitive internationally and the outstanding Malaysian graduates are all leaving to help other nations boost their economies.

DAP KK Youth will organize more and more activities to educate and create awareness for the youth to understand how politic affects them in their everyday life. Many people, especially the younger generations, are finding that their lives have become more and more competitive. Standard of living is getting more and more difficult to cope with, their social problems cannot be solved, general security has been getting out of hands, and many other complaints. This is due to they HAVE NOT DONE the one MOST IMPORTANT AND YET SIMPLEST THING to rectify all these problems that they are facing. That is to VOTE.

Many do not believe that the POWER TO CHANGE is in their hands but it's true. They can change and they have to believe it can be done. They can vote for a better government, who will listen to their point of views, their problems, economic instability and social security etc.

It is everyone's responsibility to vote, everyone is supposed to be responsible for their own lives. Our parents are responsible for the situation we are in today because they chose the government, which they believe could deliver. So we have to be responsible for our next generations by deciding which government we believe in or rather not to choose the government we no longer believe in. Register yourself and vote in the coming 13th General election. Sabah needs your votes, Malaysia needs your votes. Do our parts as a citizen of Malaysia to fight for our own lives and for our future generations. You can always contact our mobile registration team to register yourself as voter. Please contact Henry at 016-8312428 for more information.

Sabah DAP KK youth chief Junz says, "it is a historical event with the official formation of Pakatan Rakyat Sabah to fight for Sabahan rights in the coming next general election.

DAP KK Youth has pledged ourselves to give our all efforts to help contribute to the great cause of SAVING SABAH SAVING MALAYSIA. We believe under the guidance of YB Dr Hiew and other state leaders we, DAP Youth will strive for a greater height in serving the people of Sabah. We urge every Sabahan to come together and understand that the only way to save Sabah is to stick together and vote for PAKATAN RAKYAT. Pakatan Rakyat Sabah must be given a chance to prove its worth to the people of Sabah. Look at Selangor and Penang now, Pakatan Rakyat has done so much for the people in such short period of time. Such as Selangor Government has given free 20m3 water every month, free tuition for SPM candidates from poor families and education loan for students that get a place in university or college. Give Pakatan Rakyat Sabah a chance and you shall see what Pakatan Rakyat can do for Sabah.
