Challenges BN to reveal the names of the beneficiaries of 68503 acres of state land
It has been 14 months since Barisan National expressed their intent, after pressure by PR reps, to reveal the full list of beneficiaries of State Lands granted since the 2009 power grab but to date, there has been no news. Perak DAPSY hereby challenges BN to reveal the names of the beneficiaries of 68503 acres of state land and let the people be judge.
According to the written answers obtained by PR representatives from the Dewan, BN has, in a very short period of less than 2 years (2009-2011), approved 68503 acres of state land. 88% of the 60561 acres belongs to the industrial and agricultural category. The total premium collected from those acres are RM22,696,910 which is only RM375 per acre in average!
When the PR reps challenged BN to reveal the full list of beneficiaries, BN EXCO Dato' Ramli counter challenged PR to reveal their list of beneficiaries of state land during PR's regime. The challenge was accepted but BN is yet to fulfill their promise.
BN is now the ruling party in Perak and therefore they are privy to all documents and information with regards to the land granted by the then PR government within that ten months. There is no reason why BN is unable to reveal the list of beneficiaries for their own approval. More doubts will surface through BN's continuous reluctance in doing so.
The challenge to so called "reveal together" and the defamatory accusation by BN of "Land in exchange of MBship" in the recent state assembly sitting was for the purpose of creating doubt and a wrong perception which is that "all politicians, be it BN or PR are corrupted" in order to cover up and divert attention from BN's wrong doings.
Pro-UMNO blogger Pisau.net, who made the first accusation of "Land in exchange of MBship" has openly admitted that the accusation is untrue and unfounded. Once again, this proves that the accusation by the BN reps including EXCO Dato' Hamidah Osman, Pengkalan Bahru rep Dato' Hamdi, Slim River Dato' Khuisar and others against DAP State Chairman Dato' Ngeh Koo Ham has no basis and is totally unfounded.
BN's continual avoidance of the issue as to who the state land has gone to, it will only goes to show that there is something which cannot be revealed. DAPSY Perak will expose BN's land scandals in Perak over the next few weeks. Let the people see the truth and judge for themselves.
