The new PH government is not petty-minded or embark a nationwide witch-hunt for tycoons who are known or seen to be intimately linked to BN, unless they have deliberately breached the law

Since AirAsia CEO Tan Sri Tony Fernandes has apologised for campaigning for former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Abdul Razak, netcitizens have posted a flurry of messages.

We know what he and many others have been through and being treated under Najib’s regime; therefore, Tony does not have to justify the way how he had ‘foolishly’ supported Najib and Barisan Nasional (BN) during the recent general election.

Other prominent personalities do not have to emulate Tony because the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government is all about reconciliation and not vengeance.

In short, the new PH government is magnanimous. We are not petty-minded or embark a nationwide witch-hunt for tycoons who are known or seen to be intimately linked to BN, unless they have deliberately breached the law.

This country is governed by the rule of law. We will uphold the laws and the federal constitution at all times.

Our immediate attention now is to put behind the election campaign and move ahead to rebuild Malaysia into a harmonious, prosperous and advanced nation, which should have been achieved a long time ago given all the talents and resources we have.
