A political party
is nothing without its members. By being a member,
you are doing your part in strengthening the DAP
and helping to transform Malaysia into a country
that is just and democratic.
People join the
Party for many different reasons. What about you?
Perhaps you want to play a part in making
Malaysia a fairer country
Perhaps
you want to meet like-minded people in your
area
You
may wish to express your views concerning
the Party’s policies
Maybe
you want to play a greater role in your
local community as a DAP representative,
or be elected as a State Assembly Member
or Member of Parliament
Or,
like many members, you may feel the need
for a strong Opposition to act as ‘checks
and balances’ to the Government and
perhaps one day, to even form the government.
Whatever
your motivating factor for joining may be, there
is much to be gained, as well as a lot you can
do to help the party.
