Invitation to take part in “Walk with DAP” Media Announcement by Fong Kui Lun (Petaling Jaya, Tuesday): The “Walk with DAP” walkathon event will be held on this coming Sunday, 5th January 2003 at Taman Tasik Permaisuri, Bandar Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur.   The event is held in conjunction with the fund-raising program launched by the Party in August 2002 to raise funds for the next general election.   The walkathon will be flag off by DAP Life Adviser, Dr Chen Man Hin at 8.30 a.m. Registration will begin at 7.30 a.m. at the main parking area of Taman Tasik Permaisuri.   Besides the walkathon, a lucky draw will be held for the participants. Registration is free of charge and those who register for the event will be given a T-shirt and voucher for refreshment on a “first come, first serve basis”   The detail of the program is as below:   7.30 a.m.          Registration  8.30 a.m.          Flag off   9.30 a.m.          Refreshment  9.45 a.m.          Lucky draw  10.30 a.m.        End of program    Members of the DAP nationwide and the general public are encouraged to take part in the walkathon event.
