Indah Water Konsortium Bhd’s claim against consumers in test case   Press Statement by Ngeh Koo Ham (Ipoh, Tuesday): Perak DAP Lawyers have applied to court to strike out Indah Water Konsortium Bhd’s claim against consumers in a test case of the Majistrates Court, Sri Manjung, Perak in a test case.  The hearing of this application will be heard this Thursday (26/6/2003) at 9.00 a.m. The hearing of this application will be led by DAP Perak Chairman, Mr Ngeh Koo Ham and DAP Perak Legal Bureau Director, Mr Nga Hock Cheh.  The decision of this case will affect consumers of all areas where Indah Water Konsortium Bhd’s has not been authorized by the Minister of Housing & Local Government to collect sewerage charges but had been collecting from the consumers. These areas affected cover the whole of Perak except the areas under the administration of Ipoh City Council, Taiping Municipal Council and Kuala Kangsar District council.
