The emergence of light out of darkness - Happy Deepavali Deepavali  message by  Karpal Singh (Kuala Lumpur,  Friday): On behalf of the DAP, I wish the Indian community celebrating Deepavali, prosperity and good luck. Deepavali signifies the triumph of the good over evil. I fully concur with the sentiments of the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi that in celebrating the emergence of light out of darkness we will be inspired to face the challenges ahead with faith and vigour so that we may achieve all our aspirations.
