Welcome to the DAP Year of the Rooster Celebration On Sunday, 20 Feb 2005 from 11am to 1pm at the PJ national headquarters   Media Statement by Ronnie Liu Tian Khiew (Petaling Jaya,  Thursday): DAP is inviting all friends, supporters, members and representatives from various NGOs, embassies and political parties to usher in the auspicious Year of the Rooster together on Sunday, 20 February 2005 from 11 am to 1 pm at the national headquarters in Petaling Jaya ( No.24 Jalan 20/9 Paramount Garden, PJ. Traditionally, the Rooster symbolises five virtues, namely Trustworthiness, Bravery, Kindness, Literary and Military skills. These are virtues very much needed for leaders and politicians. The country is now undergoing tremendous changes and facing great challenges. The impact of globalisation is affecting the lives of every Malaysians in many ways. Malaysia needs a united people and a strong leadership to face new challenges, and compete vigorously with the rest of the world. We need leaders who are trustworthy, courageous, kind, intelligent and strong like the Rooster to lead the country towards greater democracy, freedom, equality, solidarity, peace and prosperity.
