Criticism from politicians less important: Khalid must explain

I call upon Selangor MB Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim to explain what he means when he says he listens to criticism from the rakyat more than party leaders and politicians. (http://t.co/Og3SaMXqJD)

Khalid is reported to have said this today in response expressly to criticisms leveled against him by the Pakatan Rakyat Parliamentary opposition leader Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim over his management of the Selangor state government.

No doubt, we in Pakatan hold strong to the belief that it is the people's interests which must come first but Khalid must respect the fact that politicians represent the people and they are duty bound to take the problems of the people to the state and the MB in order to have them resolved.

Khalid must not take things for granted.

He has made a very serious statement which may have serious consequences. But before I comment further, I ask him to respond and clarify matters so that we are sure of the facts before responding.
