A total of 140 outstanding students were awarded the 2024 SPM Excellence Awards by my P195 Bandar Kuching office yesterday, in recognition of their excellent results in the SPM.
This marks the fourth consecutive year that my office has implemented the initiative to support and motivate high-achieving students within the constituency.
Since the launch of this year’s programme, the response has been overwhelming, with the service centre receiving an increasing number of applications. After a thorough vetting process, 140 students were confirmed to have met the eligibility criteria and successfully received the award.
Among the recipients:
10 students scored 11 A’s
30 students scored 10 A’s
24 students scored 9 A’s
28 students scored 8 A’s
22 students scored 7 A’s
17 students scored 6 A’s
The award is part of an education-focused initiative funded by the constituency’s service centre. It aims to encourage academic excellence and reward students for their dedication and hard work in the national examination.
We hope that the recipients will continue to strive for excellence in their future academic and career paths, uphold the spirit of continuous self-improvement, and honor the sacrifices of their parents. He also encouraged them to give back to society and contribute to the nation’s development.
