Bersatu Youth should apologise for trying mislead public in case of Yayasan Albukhary

Instead of aiming their guns at Lim Guan Eng and deflecting from the crux of the matter, the Bersatu Youth should instead try prove the accusations made by Muhyiddin Yassin that Lim revoked the tax exemption for Yayasan Albukhary as then finance minister in the first Pakatan Harapan administration.

Instead of trying to deflect or shift the goal post, they should answer the question ” Did or did not Lim Guan Eng issued any specific order to revoke the tax exemptions against Yayasan Al-Bukhary?”

That is main question which until now Muhyiddin Yassin cannot prove or try to furnish evidence even though given ample time and opportunity to prove otherwise.

If so, Bersatu Youth has proven to be morally bankrupt to try to defend a clear lie and slander which has sole intention to mislead the people and invoke divisive sentiments especially among Malaysians of different races.

On top of that, in making the report, Wan Fayhsal have clearly erred in trying to bring in section 44(6B) which refers to appeals to the Minister and not the Minister initiating revocation of tax-exempt status.

This either his attempt to mislead the public or merely it just shows his ignorance and lack of knowledge about economic, financial or taxation matters.

Bersatu Youth and Wan Fayhsal also displayed their ignorance shallow knowledge of Parliamentary procedures by trying to bring the police into a matter brought up in Parliament.

If really he claims that the Prime Minister had confused and misled the Dewan Rakyat then they should instead table a motion in Parliament rather than try contravene the supremacy & independence of the Parliament.

That is why I urge them to tender their apology to Lim Guan Eng and more importantly the people of Malaysia for attempting to defend the indefensible, shift the goal post and mislead the public, on top of wasting the authorities’ resources in this matter.
