DAP CEC sets up 2 reconciliation committees to resolve and reconcile internal party differences

The DAP Central Executive Committee(CEC) at its meeting on 23 October 2013 decided to establish 2 Reconciliation Committees comprising of DAP CEC members to foster party unity and enhance comradeship through the process of engagement, factual understanding and process management in order to reconcile and resolve internal differences.

The CEC members appointed to either one of the two Reconciliation Committees are as follows:-

States Of Penang, Kedah, Perlis, Kelantan, Terengganu, Perak and Pahang

  1. Sdr Tony Pua – Chairman
  2. Sdr Zairil Khir Johari
  3. Sdr Dr Ariffin Omar
  4. Sdr Liew Chin Tong
  5. Sdri Teo Nie Ching

States Of Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor, Federal Territory and Sabah

  1. Sdr Anthony Loke – Chairman
  2. Sdr Nga Kor Ming
  3. Sdr Thomas Su
  4. Sdr Sivakumar
  5. Sdr Gobind Singh Deo

The Reconciliation Committee shall deal with issues as directed by the Secretary-General or the CEC. The first tasks of the two Reconciliation Committees shall relate to disputes that have arisen recently in Johor, Melaka and Kedah. The Chairman of the respective committees must convene meetings immediately and the conclusions reported back to both the CEC and me.
