Today we went around Kampung Sri Maimunah, Sg Apong & Kg Lumba Kuda to give out food aid and “Bakul Raya” to more than 20 needy families in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Celebrations.
Such “Bakul Raya” consist of snacks, packet drinks, cordial drinks, biscuits and some food ration which will hopefully blesse the needy during this raya festival.
Many of the recipients are OKU, single mothers, elderly and some with chronic diseases and cancer.
During this festive season it is important we remember those that are needy around us and also play our part to share this festive season joy with them.
While there are quarters that continue to sow hatred and division among us, we will continue to focus on uniting one another regardless of our race, religion or background and the needs of the people.
We need to protect the unity and harmony that we have and let us help one another regardless of our skin colour.
