GPS desperate lies by putting words into my mouth, can not hide nor cover-up their unholy alliance with UMNO and PAS to form a third force of 91 MPs that would lead to non-Muslim and non-Malay fundamental rights, enshrined under the Federal Constitution being extinguished. UMNO President Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had said that BN PAS and other allies in Sarawak and Sabah would made up this third force of 91 MPs, that could engineer the formation of a new Federal government.
This back door approach to forming a new Federal government by BN and PAS that was defeated in the 2018 general election, is a dangerous escalation of undemocratic tactics to overthrow the present Federal government, and betray the clear and unequivocal mandate given by the people to vote in a new government led by Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. Worse, going by the racist and extremist religous philosophy of both PAS and UMNO in preaching discrimnation, threats, lies and hatred against both non-Malays and non-Muslims, a new back-door government led by PAS and UMNO may lead to:-
- Non-Malays or non-Muslims do not deserve to hold Ministerial positions in Cabinet;
- Vernacular schools teaching mother-tongue languages should be closed down;
- Non-Muslims expecially Christians, cannot gather for their religous prayers;
- Boycotting non-Muslim products and businesses; and
- Labelling non-Muslim and non-Malays who oppose them as pigs, terrorists and communists.
The UMNO President had clearly said that GPS was part of the third force of 91 MPs, clearly continuing the existing collaboration and co-operation between GPS, PAS and UMNO. GPS has still failed to explain how co-operating with PAS and BN can benefit Sarawakians, as shown by their common stand in rejecting PH’s failed effort to amend the Federal Constitution to restore the status and position of Sabah and Sarawak on the same level as Peninsular Malaysia.
A new Federal governemnt led by PAS and UMNO may lead to more corruption and incompetent economic management until salaries of civil servants can not be paid. Both BN and PAS states that it is permissible to lie or not publicly declare their assets. Corruption is not important when PAS turns a blind eye to the financial scandals of the previous BN and UMNO government, involving sums of RM150 billion. Poor economic management is also unimportant until the PAS government of Kelantan is not embarrassed that it cannot pay the salaries of its employees and have to borrow from the Federal government(the latest RM100 million only this month) to do so.
In a desperate attempt to hide and bury their unholy alliance with the racists and religious extremists in UMNO and PAS, Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg lied when he claimed that I had let the cat out of the bag by stating that the setting up of the Federal Village Community Management (MPKKP) is the federal government’s ‘weapon’ to capture Sarawak in the next state election. This is a disreputable act coming from the Sarawak Chief Minister of putting such words, especially “weapon” into my mouth.
I had never used such words and challenge Abang Jo to show proof that I had referred to MPKKP in that manner. Clearly the Sarawak Chief Minister is not a gentleman like his predecessor. He should take the bull by the horns and explain to Sarawakians the unholy alliance between GPS, PAS and UMNO instead of resorting to dishonest tactics to distract public attention.
