It is interesting that everytime we raise the issue about PERMATA, Rizal Mansor will bring in other issue not related to PERMATA into the disccusion. How Lim Guan Eng has anything to do with whether Rosmah should be the patron of PERMATA?
Is Rizal Mansor going to bring us around the world before he would reason with us on the call for Rosmah to resign as the patron of PERMATA? Or he’ll not answer at all as he has run out of ideas to defend her boss in PERMATA?
After we heard so much from him, we still have not obtained clear answers for the main questions for this PERMATA discussion:
- Why do we need to place early childhood education development programs under an agency in Prime Minister Department (PMD) when other ministries such as Women, Family and Community Development Ministry and Education Ministry have more expertise and experiences in the relavant fields?
- Why does PERMATA need to have a patron while countries with world-class early childhood education such as Finland, Sweden, Singapore etc have no patron for their early childhood education development agencies?
- What is the legitimacy of Rosmah’s position in PERMATA? Is it by merit or marriage?
- Is PERMATA sincere about meeting the demand for accountability and transparency from us since Rosmah likes to whine and play victims so much about it?
I would like to challenge Rizal Mansor not drag other issues into our PERMATA disccussions and answer the above questions head-on.
