I refer to the speech by Second Finance Minister, Johari Abdul Ghani, MP for Titiwangsa on 7 NOVEMBER 2016 during the 2017 Budget policy stage debate in the Dewan Rakyat.
Firstly, I would like to thank the Second Finance Minister for making an effort to respond to my charges against Prime Minister-cum-Finance Minister Najib Razak for misleading the House with his 2017 Budget Speech on 21 OCTOBER 2016.
Although the response should be answered personally by the person who made the speech, i.e. Najib Razak himself, I am grateful that the Second Finance Minister devoted substantial space in his speech to reply me even though I was not allowed into the chamber by the Speaker.
Secondly, in his speech, the Second Finance Minister also said that if I am not satisfied with his answer, he can give me a personal tutorial on the said matter.
I am indeed not satisfied with his answer. Therefore, I hereby accept his offer. However, it is not fair that I get a personal tutorial when other Malaysians are also interested to know the Budget better.
Hence, I want to invite him to be a panelist along with me in public forum on the Budget where he can give us all a tutorial. This is a public invitation to him but at the same time, I will also send an invitation to his office. I will accommodate his busy schedule and organise the forum at a date of his convenience. I hope to receive his quick and favourable reply on this matter.
