Yesterday, my office allocated RM100,000 for the purchase of equipment and facilities for Sarawak General Hospital(SGH).
SGH has long been one of the busiest and most essential healthcare institutions in the region, managing a consistently high patient volume. However, many of its facilities and equipment have become outdated or are no longer functioning optimally, which hampers service delivery and overall efficiency.
In response to this urgent need, my office has allocated a total of RM100,000 to support critical upgrades at SGH. A major portion of this funding will be used to procure four-seater polyurethane-linked chairs, desktop computers, computer monitors, Laptops, executive chairs, and so on.
This upgrade will significantly enhance digital infrastructure, streamline work processes, and improve service quality for patients and staff alike.
These upgrades are essential to improving the hospital’s functionality, ensuring a more comfortable environment for patients and staff, and strengthening SGH’s capacity to deliver timely and quality care.
