Malaysia is too unfortunate to have Najib Razak as the Prime Minister

It is shocked to learn that UMNO Supreme Council Member Mohd Sharkar Shamsudin, in defending the scandal-hit Prime Minister Najib Razak, has shamelessly said it is the responsibility of a party leader to source for funds for its party’s program, albeit equivalent to a salient admission that UMNO had been using the money originated from 1MDB and deposited into the Najib Razak’s personal account for their own benefit.

It seems that misuse and misappropriation of public coffers has become a norm in UMNO until its Supreme Council Member had not taken it as something serious, utterly wrong, and to be ashamed of.

Perhaps for UMNO, it is right to use the people’s money held by the government of the day on trust, for their own benefit.

In the eyes of Mohd Sharkar Shamsudin, UMNO is fortunate to have Najib Razak as he Prime Minister. That is the typical Najib’s defender’s mindset. The facts on how 1MDB money was squabbled has clearly proven that it is too unfortunate for Malaysia to have Najib Razak as the Prime Minister.

Mohd Sharkar Shamsudin said Najib Razak is transparent. The next question to Mohd Sharkar, is Najib Razak ready to divulge the total sum of money actually deposited into his personal account and the source thereof, and to list down all the recipients of the money, be it they are UMNO leaders, UMNO Divisions, Barisan Nasional’s component parties, or any other figure closely related to UMNO such as senior lawyer Shafee Abdullah as exposed by Sarawak Report.

Let the Malaysians judge and tell Mohd Sharkar Shamsudin what is right and what is wrong.
