MCA president Wee Ka Siong has the cheek to issue a statement to announce that the RM6.1 million of Yayasan 1MDB funds which the government recovered did not come from MCA-founded Koperasi Jayadiri Malaysia Bhd (Kojadi).
Why didn’t Wee allow Kojadi board members to speak for the company? Can Wee answer if Kojadi was willing to return to the people the RM15 million grant or whatever is left of the amount it got from Yayasan 1MDB?
Kojadi suspended chairperson Ng Peng Hay who has accused Wee of interfering with the company’s decision about the money. Ng has also told Wee not to dishonour the office of the MCA president.
“The whole world knows monies in 1MDB, SRC International, Najib’s account and Yayasan 1MDB all belong to the people of Malaysia”, said Ng.
Perhaps Wee is heeding the advice from his recently endorsed chief Barisan Nasional adviser, Najib Razak in denying the grant from Yayasan 1MDB was derived from Najib’s bank account. No?
