Media Statement by DAP Socialist Youth Wilayah Persekutuan on 4th February 2015

We are utterly disgusted and appalled by the decision of the Sabah Immigration to deny access to Sdri Teresa Kok from entering Sabah on the 4th of February 2015. It is with disbelieve that no reason was given to bar her entry into Sabah.

We understand that Sabah is given the power to deny entry on any individual into Sabah if he or she is seen to be a threat to the State. But we would like to question the Chief Minister of Sabah Datuk Seri Musa Aman, is a person who is championing the 20 point agreement with the Federation of Malaysia is considered as an enemy of the state.

This move is seen as a political move to suppress opposition members who is representing the voice of the people
We have only heard good works done by Sdri Teresa Kok through Impian Sabah which brings infra projects to the interior areas of Sabah which is much neglected by the Barisan Nasional government.

We demand that the decision by the Sabah Immigration to bar entry to any Pakatan Rakyat representatives be retracted immediately.
We would also ask Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman will Agriculture Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri be barred entry into Sabah as well due to his latest racial spat among the Chinese.
