In conjunction with the arrival of 2015 Chinese New Year which is the Year of Goat in the Lunar Calendar, the office of MP for Seputeh Teresa Kok has produced a video titled “1 Goat Year, 1 Great Family”.
The video was uploaded today on “1 Goat Year, 1 Great Family” face book public page.
The video “ stars “ include Pak Samad( national Malay literature laureate ) , Khalid Samad ( Shah Alam MP ), Nurul Izzah ( Lembah Pantai MP ), Cynthia Gabriel (founder of C4 anti corruption and good governance centre) , Hew Kuan Yau ( writer and speaker : “Superman” ) and Lim Jing Miao (actress).
In the Chinese zodiac, Goat symbolizes virtues, peace and harmony.
Over the last one year, statements of racism and religious extremism by some irresponsible groups have surfaced and threatened the peace and harmony of the Malaysian society. The message of the video clip is to call on Malaysians of different races and different beliefs to be one Great family of Malaysians who treasure virtues, peace and harmony.
To highlight the video theme, a special 15 table Family Dinner event has been planned on 12 February. All the video “Stars “will be special guests at the Dinner.
