Pairin Kitingan and Abdul Rahman Dahlan challenged to present at the RCI forum by DAP Sabah

DAP Sabah today challenged two prominent BN leaders to present at the party’s held public forum on RCI report this Thursday night. The findings of RCI report is the matter of public interest and it’s beyond partisan politics. Both side of political divide should formulate the consensus to move forward from the RCI findings.

Those BN leaders named are Tan Sri Pairing Kitingan, who is the chairman for RCI report working committee, and Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan, who is strong advocate for BN federal government.

For Pairin, it’s common knowledge for every Sabahan that PBS statement government was overthrown in 1994, with the influx of illegal immigrants who registered as voters. Pairin has repeatedly called for the setting up of RCI to investigate the issue, but now the findings of the said RCI report only concluded that the illegal immigrants project probably existed, which is obviously contracting with public perception.

Its utmost important for Pairin to draft his own Terms of Reference (TOR) for his RCI working committee. DAP Sabah invites him to attend the forum to share the views and formulate the TOR together.

For Abdul Rahman Dahlan, the mouthpiece for BN federation government, it’s insulting to Sabahan if we are the one to be blamed to cause the influx of illegals due to the attraction of economics reasons like cheap labor force and more prosperity in Sabah.

DAP Sabah invites Dahlan to present at the forum and given the chance to communicate face to face with public, to test the public acceptance of his statements. Failig which, Dahlan is just a coward and doesn’t entitled Sabahan’s respect in the future.

The RCI report forum entitle “RCI report: hopes for Sabah or cries of Sabah” would be conducted in Palace Hotel, 7.30pm on 11/12/2014 (Thursday). Among the key speakers are DAP Parliamentary Leader Lim Kit Siang, MPKK Jimmy Wong, MP Sandakan Stephen Wong, Former State Sefretary Tan Sri Simon Sipaun, STAR chief Datuk Dr. Jeffrey Kitingan, APS Chief Datuk Seri Panglima Wilfred Bumburing, PKR and Pas leaders. It’s free admission and public are invited to attend to share the views on the topic.
