MCA Penang Youth Deputy Secretary Ooi Teik Liang emphasized that Penang MCA will certainly continue to explore local talents in future and will not look to other states to fill up important positions. However, the newly appointed Penang MCA State Liaison Chairman Ong Ka Chuan is originated from Perak!
It is a sarcastic response towards MCA itself over Ooi Teik Liang’s statement where MCA could not even preserve their very important position (the Penang MCA State Liaison Chairman) by appointing non-local talent to hold the said position. Or perhaps, Ooi does not take the said position in MCA party as an important position in other way round and hence he never take it an issue when the Penang MCA is now led by people from other states who is directly appointed by the central committee where the Penang based MCA members have no say at all in the leadership appointment. It shows that MCA has no more talented member and this is contradicting Ooi’s statement. What a ridiculous scenario!
It is undeniable that Chua Soi Lek has been appointed as Penang Port Commission Chairman over the years, why would not MCA take this an issue until then but pinpointing over the appointment of Anthony Loke as the member of Board of Director for Penang Hill Corporation? Ooi should not attempt to twist around the history record by denying the appointment of Johorian to hold Penang’s government position, merely to attack DAP and the Chief Minister, Lim Guan Eng, unless Ooi feels bad and does not recognize Chua Soi Lek as the former Chairman of Penang Port Commission.
The Penang Chief Minister had never mentioned that he could not to guarantee 1,000 engineers required by a company. The Parliament Hansard back in year 2009 proves that Chief Minister, Lim Guan Eng had said 1,000 Electrical & Electronics engineers and not 1,000 engineers. It is senseless for MCA and Ooi Teik Liang to assume 1,000 Electrical & Electronics engineers as 1,000 engineers, at least the Penang state Pakatan Harapan Government would not provide false data to beautify the report. The similar misleading information started in year 2009, has been using over and over again by MCA, this reflects that MCA is talented only in faking accusation but no more.
