There have been long suspicion and public allegations that UMNO has outsourced its extremist demands and voices to Perkasa. No action has been taken against this group for having made provocative, seditious statements which violate the laws.
Umno Supreme Council member Tan Sri Isa Samad has let out the truth when he said: “We protected Perkasa and it received plenty of benefits from us. How will it replace us?”
So the truth is out—Umno and the government has been protecting Perkasa and giving plenty of funds to it.
How a government that talks about 1 Malaysia concept could protect and provide aid to an organization which does and says things that go against its own concept?
Prime Minister should apologise for using tax payers’ money to fund an NGO which works against racial unity and religious harmony. He should tell Malaysians if he is sincere about and committed to the 1 Malaysia concept.
He should also reveal details of aid given to Perkasa.
