The highly anticipated PJ Startup Festival is back again for its fifth edition, showcasing some of the best startups from Malaysia and the region. Member of the State Assembly for Kampung Tunku YB Lim Yi Wei together with councillors of the Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ) from Zone 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, 16, 19, and 20 will be organizing the PJ Startup Festival 2024.
PJ Startup Festival 2024 is a grassroots startup and the largest free digital economy event. It is supported by MBPJ, Selangor Information Technology & Digital Economy Corporation (SIDEC), and venture capital partners.
Event information is as follows:
Date: 17 – 18th August 2024 (Saturday and Sunday)
Time: 10 am – 7 pm
Venue: Hall 2, 5th Floor, The Starling, 47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
In addition to showcasing innovative startups, the PJ Startup Festival 2024 will also feature discussions on the latest trends in the startup and tech scene. Participants can look forward to learning about topics such as youth entrepreneurship, startup and corporate pitching, fundraising, and crowdfunding.
Furthermore, the festival will also focus on several topics such as the digital economy, electric vehicles (EV), business startups, how to benefit artificial intelligence (AI) in business, and many more interesting topics. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn from experts in these fields and gain insights into how these technologies are shaping the future of business.

There will also be a total of 49 countertops available for startups or organisations who are keen to conduct exhibitions. Each countertop is RM1000.00.
