PKR Youth should let PAS & Hadi Awang go along and sink together with its “new friend” BN-UMNO, rather than putting up any unrealistic hope that Hadi Awang will work towards toppling the current kleptocracy administration.
PKR Deputy Youth Chief Dr Afif Bahardin has said that PKR Youth wants to continue working with any party, including PAS, as long as the agenda is to topple BN and UMNO.
Afif is right in indicating that the importance of the sharing of agenda of toppling BN and UMNO as the basic of co-operation. However, Hadi Awang had demonstrated in the past 2 years that they are keen to lean towards supporting UMNO and Najib.
On the issue of RUU355 per se, PAS has shown an incredible tacit understanding with BN, from the day the matter was first raised by UMNO’s Minister Jamil Khir’s parliamentary statement in 27th March, 2014, until today where the taking over of Hadi’s Bill by BN has become imminent.
The recently viralled video clip by Hadi Awang has clearly shown that PAS only wanted to win the control of 5 states Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah, Perak and Selangor and while leaving the other states to UMNO, and not to others.
Hadi has further said that PAS wanted to win 40 parliament seats in the next general election to have the “king-maker” role to determine the next Federal Government in Malaysia.
With the current leadership of PAS under Hadi Awang, which is described as “new friend” by the Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, wouldn’t it is clear that the 40-parliament seats target as the “king-maker” will eventually turn into the saviour to UMNO and Najib?
PKR Youth and Afif should stop putting hope on the hopeless, and be clear to move forward with the recently strengthen Pakatan Harapan 4-party-coalition.
