Prime Minister Najib Razak must tell us what he knows about the reasons behind the killing of Altantuya Shaariibuu.
This is now a matter of national if not international concern. It is most certainly a matter of public interest.
The Prime Minister has today said that Sirul’s claim that he acted under orders is utter rubbish. How does he know this? This pin’s him down to that question.
If Sirul’s claim isn’t true, then what is?
Najib may have just check-mated himself with that answer.
Either he as Prime Minister, knows what happened or he doesn’t.
If he knows, I as Member of Parliament demand that he speaks up. He must tell us, what did investigations reveal as motive for the killing? Who directed the killing and why?
If he doesn’t, he must find out. He would until then, be in no position to say whether Sirul is telling the truth or not. So why has he as Prime Minister denied it publicly?
Would he be, in those circumstances, prepared to retract that statement and direct an open and transparent inquiry into the matter?
