Today I have lodged a police report at Perak IPD Ipoh against Perak State commissioner Razman Zakaria against his remark on Saturday night during Himpunan Perpaduan Ummah at Kampung Gajah, Pasir Salak.
In his speech Razman Zakaria has said that DAP decision not to accept honours from Malay Sultan is rude implying that DAP is anti Malay Rulers and anti Malay.
Razman Zakaria also refer to DAP as immigrants (pendatang) which is uncalled for.
After more than 60 years of independence, no Malaysian should be regarded as immigrants as we are all patriotic Malaysians born and bred in Malaysia, working hard to rebuild our beloved country.
The remark from Razman Zakaria is not only untrue but also slanderous. Let me reiterate that the DAP has always uphold the federal constitution in our 53 years of political struggle and respect the Malay Rulers. We support the constitutional monarchy system in Malaysia as enshrined in the Federal Constitution.
DAP is a party that emphasize on the service to the people without hoping for any return. Razman Zakaria’s statement is slanderous and criminal defamation against the DAP trying to instill hatred against the DAP. I urge the police to Investigate Razman Zakaria under the penal code Section 499 Criminal Defamation and take immediate action.
