The DAP Central Executive Committee at its meeting on 25 May 2015 made the resolution that all party matters, disputes of any nature whether concerning members, financial or otherwise, must be dealt with via internal party channels only. Any member found going to the media to publicise any dispute without abiding by this directive will be dealt with by the party’s Disciplinary Committee.
All members, regardless of position and rank, are reminded that they have a duty to safeguard the party’s reputation and should be mature enough to resolve any disputes or disagreements internally. Publicizing any dispute openly in the media will only serve to undermine the party, cause unnecessary division and affect the confidence of the rakyat in the party.
Hence, all members are urged to use internal party channels to resolve any party-related dispute or disagreement and refrain from going to the media in the best interest of the party. We trust that all members will abide by this directive and ensure party unity especially at a time when the rakyat is looking to the DAP to provide political leadership.
