Resolutions by MPs from DAP, Parti KeADILan Rakyat and Gerakan Harapan Baru

Members of Parliament from Democratic Action Party, Parti KeADILan Rakyat and Gerakan Harapan Baru met in Parliament on 26th August 2015 and resolved

  1. That the MPs from DAP, PKR and GHB support BERSIH 4 Rally and call on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi to commit that there would not be crack down on the rally.
  2. That the MPs from DAP, PKR and GHB would only participate in the National Consultative Council on Political Funding if :
  3. a) the issue of RM2.6 billion mysterious “donation” into a private bank account by a foreign party is addressed upfront;

    b) the scope is expanded to electoral reforms and independence granted to MACC and Election Commission

  4. That the MPs from DAP, PKR and GHB are prepared to discuss the proposals by MPs from Barisan Nasional to form a new majority to replace the Government of Datuk Seri Najib Razak with political reforms as the core agenda of the new government. The release of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and all other prisoners of conscience should be one of the first tasks to be performed by the new majority. All political persecutions should also be rescinded.
