The 2024 Report Card of P195 Pusat Khidmat Bandar Kuching is now attached to YB Kelvin Yii’s Facebook page.

On the last day of 2024, I am humbled with my attached Report Card 2024 of P195 Bandar Kuching on my Facebook page for voters and the public to read and review.

This total 51-page report card is full of pictures and captions, especially recording the various plans and projects implemented in my constituency over the year, as well as the welfare and community services.

This year, my focus has remained on investing in education and healthcare, which I believe are the foundations for building a brighter future for our children and ensuring the well-being of every individual in our community. Significant strides were made to upgrade school infrastructure and facilities, especially replacing old and broken furniture in classrooms and staff rooms. Ensuring that teachers have the best environment to teach and students have the best environment to learn is a commitment I take seriously.

In addition, I have also prioritized the welfare of our constituents especially the elderly and poor and also by supporting meaningful initiatives, including programs for youth development. I believe that empowering our younger generation is key to nurturing future leaders who will drive progress in our constituency and nation.

In the year 2024, my P195 Bandar Kuching office received a total of RM4.4 million in allocations from the federal government, of which expenditure in education accounted for 61% of the total allocation, or RM2,663,295.38; followed by Community/NGOs 16%, Welfare 10%, Health 7% & Youth/Sports 6%.

The report card also records various activities of the service center, including the continually organised  “SPM Power Preparation Workshop”, “Agro Madani”, “STPM Reward”, “SPM Reward”,  “Tertiary Education Assistant Fund for P195 Bandar Kuching”, and also our office new event “Love Bandar Kuching Pop-Up Market”.

This year marked a milestone in my journey as I was appointed Political Secretary to the Minister of Human Resources. This role enabled me to actively contribute to national policies aimed at improving the rights and working conditions of workers across Malaysia. Notably, I played a role in our Ministry to push for the historic reform of the Sabah and Sarawak Labour Ordinance, which strengthens the rights of workers in our region.

We never forgot to thank all the cooperation and strong support to us and our service team, which enabled the smooth execution of constituency affairs.
