PAS President, Datuk Seri Hadi Awang had called on the voters to select either PAS or Umno to govern Malaysia in the next election.
The choice for our 30 million Malaysians, including that of approximately 1 million PAS members is clear, that is to vote in a new Pakatan Harapan government to project a new hope for our nation, or to strengthen Najib’s scandals-hit and kleptocracy governance with the help of Hadi-led-PAS.
PAS Perak Commissioner, Razman Zakaria has said earlier that PAS will win 80 parliamentary seats in the next General Election, adding up with UMNO’s 40 to form the next Federal Government. The assumption on the number of seats to be won is clearly not practical nor realistic, however, two conclusions can be drawn from Razman’s assumption.
Firstly, there will be an electoral-pact between PAS-UMNO in the next election, against Pakatan Harapan (PAS+UMNO vs PH); and
Secondly, PAS is expecting UMNO to lose ground, and reducing its current 88 MPs to 40 MPs, a decrease of more than half in numbers.
The first conclusion seems to have been affirmed by Hadi’s latest statement.
As for the second conclusion, there is indeed a possibility of UMNO’s number of MPs to be reduced to 40, as 60 out of 133 seats won by Barisan Nasional were won with less than 55% of votes in PRU13. Malaysians only need a slight swing of votes to cost BN-UMNO power in the next election.
With the implementation of GST and with the global scandals of BN Government remain unresolved, UMNO is at the verge of losing power for the first time at federal level in the next General Election. But why Hadi had now chosen to save Najib, rather than saving Malaysia from the global kleptocracy governance?
Hadi and Razman are clearly not that naive to think that they can ride on UMNO to lead the next federal government. They will lose their only parliamentary seat Bukit Gantang, and all 4 state seats i.e. Sg Rapat, Gunung Semanggol, Selinsing and Titi Serong in Perak with a slight losing of 5% opposition Malay votes which had lost confident in them as a results of Hadi and Razman leaning towards UMNO. UMNO Will emerge to be the eventure winner and PAS will be swept out.
Aren’t Hadi and Razman putting the long history of PAS at stake, for whatsoever reason that may not be known to others?
Malaysians, including the 1 Million PAS members, should raise up and take the right move for Malaysia. The only way to Save Malaysia is to ensure UMNO has no external party support and is kicked out in the election.
