Ti Lian Ker should stop accusing DAP of resorting to gutter politics with regard to Liow Tiong Lai’s Merdeka video.
The MCA central committee member noted how Liow, in the video, conceded that mistakes were made, but at the same timed pointed out that it was not easy to govern Malaysia.
So my question to Ti Lian Ker and MCA, where is the government effort to right the wrong?
Patriotic Malaysians do not give up on Malaysia. They merely give up on MCA and BN. We do not give up hope, but we are also not that gullible to believe that voting same people into the same positions will be able to bring hope to Malaysia.
It is never easy to govern. PH governments in Penang and Selangor are not perfect either. But Malaysia is now a world-renowned kleptocracy, the degree of incompetency is far from merely making a few innocent mistakes.
Look at where we are now. A shameless PM who is holding basic human rights to ransom by withholding clause 88A in the Law Reform (Marriage and Divorce) Act while the rest of BN component parties including MCA just sit there and do nothing for the heart-broken mothers and innocent children!
Liow Tiong Lai being the President of MCA, also a cabinet Minister, people expect him to give direction and solution. Helping Najib administration to retain power will only make more and more people give up hope.
If this Merdeka video does not create the effect and response that MCA hopes for, please do not blame DAP as being the political party who has governed Malaysia for 60 years, every citizen has the right to hold MCA and BN accountable for making Malaysia a world-renowned kleptocracy.
