Recently we were on the ground to visit Klinik Kesihatan Tanah Puteh (KKTP) to monitor the upgrades and improvement for the clinic since my last contributions as well as follow up on different needs of the clinic and find ways that we can assist them address them for the benefit of the staff and also the patients.
Previously, i contributed RM 100k to the clinic and that funds was used by the clinic to eract a new “Breast-Feeding Room” to the mother and child clinic. That room is also used for the nurse in the clinic to teach new mothers how to breastfeed their newborn child.
On top of that, it was also used to buy new furnitures, cupboards, new computers, and other necessities.
KKTP is a government clinic with a long history. Its location happens to be in the middle of Kuching’s parliamentary constituency.
Since I was elected as a Member of Parliament, I have always been concerned about the shortage and needs of the Tanah Puteh Clinic.
This year we will continue to address some of the other needs and concerns of the public even some repair and upgrades of the infrastructures.
We will write to the Jabatan Kesihatan Daerah Kuching to seek cooperation and offer our assistance to the clinic in various aspects, as we work together for the benefit of the clinic, patients and staff.
