I refer to the antics of Jamal Yunos as reported by Malaysiakini in its report today titled, “Victimised and fearing arrest, Jamal seeks refuge in oil palm estate”.
It is necessary to comment on Jamal’s statement in the above report not to respond to him but to address the issue of how pathetic the police force has become.
Jamal was supposed to have surrendered himself today. He did not. Instead, he produced a video to explain himself.
This nonsense must stop. We are no longer the past administration. Jamal must be arrested and he must be arrested now.
The PDRM must take the necessary steps to ensure law and order. Jamal was scheduled to surrender today. He did not.
Is the force so hopeless that it can’t even arrest a person like Jamal for the purposes of investigations?
I urge the Inspector General of Police to arrest Jamal forthwith or risk being labeled useless and to resign forthwith.
