While I am happy with the shift in policy, I am concerned about the motivation behind it. How do we know it’s not a ploy to grab votes? I have spoken to many mothers and their cries still ring in my ears. I can only hope Zahid Hamidi is not giving false hopes.
Politics must change. Conscience must be intrinsic and not something one wears at his whim and fancy. Vote out UMNO, and I can also assure you that Pakatan Harapan will unite Malaysian families. And that would come from a genuine place.
What about the stateless children born in the country? They face problems with education, healthcare, freedom of education and hopelessness. Just follow the constitution and give them citizenship.
