Who else would be so generous as to fund the Barisan Nasional (BN) campaign by paying RM300 cash for owners of any vehicle willing to be plastered the BN stickers, unless it is by a party with vested interest?
I dare Federal Territories Umno Youth chief Mohd Razlan Muhammad Rafii to immediately lodge a police report against the company claiming that it is engaged by FT BN to plaster BN stickers on cars and paying RM300 for it.
If he has no courage, I will offer Mohd Razlan to go with him to confront the counter doing the job in front of the cameras so that he could clear the name of FT Umno Youth, failing of which no one will buy into his story.
The police can also be invited along to ensure that they could also carry out a probe and charge the party concerned for misrepresenting the FT BN.
If Razlan fails to do as I have suggested, FT BN chief Tengku Adnan Mansor should also be interested to ensure that the name of its youth wing and BN should not be tarnished by irresponsible individuals.
There is also every reason for the police to immediately investigate the source of the fund, as it is easy for members of the public to speculate that the money could have originated from 1MDB or Jho Low.
If the money came from FT BN, the public would like to know how much they have spent in this coming election.
Razlan should not only make an open denial, without stopping the party concerned misusing the name of BN.
Meanwhile, I urge members of the public to also lodge police reports against anyone offering money to plaster any party logo on their vehicles.
