On 14/11/2015 (Saturday), I had stated that since Perak MB Incorporated (MB Inc) was activated in 2012, more than 10,000 acres of land worth billions of ringgit was approved to MB Inc.
Yesterday (16/11/2015), the CEO of MB Inc, Datuk Aminudin Hashim refuted my statement and stated that Perak MB Inc owned only 890 hectares (2,200 acres) of land. He threatened to take legal action against me after consulting his lawyers.
He said that MB Inc does not need to make public its account in response to my question as to why MB Inc did not table its account before the Perak State Assembly as are done by other state agencies.
In an earlier State Assembly sitting, the Honourable Menteri Besar had in his reply to me stated that MB Inc has been approved 10,500 acres of land for mineral prospecting by the State Land and Mines department until 2014. It means MB Inc has been approved not less than 10,500 acres of land.
The Honourable Menteri Besar has also said that MB Inc has a Mining Blue Print and has introduced the concept of developing a Tin Valley by phases from the mineral corridor of Gerik, Temenggor and Pengkalan Hulu.
Who lied? The Honourable Menteri Besar or the CEO of MB Inc.
I would like to remind Datuk Aminudin Hashim that the money belonging to MB Inc is not his own and he should not use it as he likes. I am waiting for the legal action that will be instituted by him but he must use his own money for the legal cost as the proposed legal action has no basis.
My media conference on 14/11/2015 was directed to the Honourable Menteri Besar who is responsible to answer all issues raised by elected representative on behalf of the people. Datuk Aminudin Hashim should not feel that he is qualified to assume the shoes of the Menteri Besar.
I fear with the CEO like Datuk Aminudin Hashim and the on goings in MB Inc, I have on 14/11/2015 stated that MB Inc can become the biggest scandal in Perak if not prevented from becoming one.
Once again, I on behalf of the People of Perak demand that the Honourable Menteri Besar of Perak supply a list of all the lands approved to MB Inc and also all the agreements entered into by MB Inc to all the state elected representatives when the Perak State Assembly commences its sitting today.
