PBB is the party most frightened with the announcement of PPBM entering Sarawak. It signifies that the political ground of PBB will finally be shaken.
YAB Prime Minister’s announcement of his intention to expand PPBM’s influence into Sarawak shows his determination to topple PBB in next Sarawak Election and to form new Sarawak Government under Pakatan Harapan.
We deserve to have a new Sarawak as well, after having New Malaysia.
Previously PBB has been trying very hard to stop UMNO from coming into Sarawak for a sole reason: to ensure PBB can exploit the resources in Sarawak alone. PBB was not stopping UMNO for the sake of Sarawakians but for the personal benefits their leaders and cronies.
We are still seeing mega contracts are awarded to BN (or now GPS) cronies companies without open tender, despite the new Federal Government’s directive not allowing so; we are still seeing hundreds of thousands of acres of state lands are alienated to few selected companies at meagre premium of RM300 per acre without open tender.
The intention to form new Sarawak Government under Pakatan Harapan is to stop PBB from continuing to exploit Sarawakians, likewise in Federal level we stopped UMNO from continuing to exploit us.
It is time to ensure the principles of clean governance and transparency to be extended to Sarawak, and with the join force of all four component parties of Pakatan Harapan, there is a hope to topple the strong and powerful regime of PBB.
