A year has passed since the court of appeal deliver the verdict on Teoh Beng Hock case on the 5 September 2014. The court of appeal passed the verdict as below,
“The death of Teoh Beng Hock was caused by multiple injuries from a fall from the 14th floor of Plaza Masalam, a result of which was accelerated by an unlawful act or acts of person unknown, inclusive of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission officers involved in the arrest and investigation of the deceased.”
It is crystal clear that the court of appeal has singled out the unlawful act of the MACC officers has accelerated the death of Teoh Beng Hock and thus must be fully responsible for the murder of Teoh Beng Hock.
The court of appeal in its submission has categorically ruled out the possibility of accidental death and suicide. The court of appeal noted that the theory of accidental death could not be sustained as there was no possibility of accident egress i.e. the window is higher and the absence of toxins, drugs or alcohol in Teoh Beng Hock’s blood.
The court also mentioned that the theory of suicide could not be sustained as Teoh Beng Hock was to be married, to become a father, was making arrangement for his wedding as late as 15 July 2009 before being taken in by the MACC officers and Teoh Beng Hock had every reason to want to live.
This leave the only possibility of truth which is homicide. Upon the passing of the verdict by the court of appeal last year, the police should have arrested and summoned all the 33 MACC officers who are involved in the arrest and interrogation of Teoh Beng Hock as suspect or witness to investigate Teoh Beng Hock’s murder case, with the then Selangor MACC Deputy Director, Hishammudin Hasim who is the chief investigator as the prime suspect.
Are the police part of the Teoh Beng Hock systematic murder cover-up that they refused arrest any MACC officers involved in Teoh Beng Hock’s murder? Or are they so incompetent, unprofessional and inefficient that they failed to arrest any MACC officers a year after the court of appeal deliver the verdict that Teoh Beng Hock is murdered in the MACC building?
A lot of lies and half-truths has been produced and presented to the public for the last 6 years to give the impression that Teoh Beng Hock committed suicide or accidentally died in the MACC building. However no one with a sane mind would have believe such an baseless and wild allegation. The verdict of the court of appeal has reaffirm the fact that Teoh Beng Hock is murdered in the MACC building.
If the police are not involved in the Teoh Beng Hock systematic murder cover-up, they must immediately arrest all the 33 MACC officers involved in Teoh Beng Hock case and prosecute the murderers.
Malaysians who are committed to justice will keep pursuing this case and fight till the last breath to bring Teoh Beng Hock murderers to justice.
