The PAS President, Hadi Awang, has again delivered a racist and most intemperate diatribe, calling on the Malays to unite as the race is being openly conned!
He said that the Malays were being toyed with and conned due to their own neglect and ignorance and are victims of the country’s politics, being plagued by corruption, moral decay and divisions among themselves.
He slammed Malays who work with non-Muslims and non-Malays, who he claimed are the “biggest plunderer” who give and receive bribes.
This is not the first time that the PAS leader has turned his guns against the non-Muslims and non-Malays but now he has gone too far.
Can Hadi for instance, name the non-Muslim and non-Malay “plunderers” who give and receive bribes, conning the Malays and Muslims?
I would have thought that if Hadi is serious in believing that the Malays and Muslims had been conned for over half a century, he would hold Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad as bearing the largest responsibility as Mahathir had been Prime Minister for more than 24 years!
Yet, Hadi supports Mahathir’s “Malay Proclamation” to save the Malay race!
Is Mahathir’s “Malay Proclamation” part of the non-Malay and non-Muslim con job to deceive and plunder the Malays and Muslims in Malaysia?
Is Hadi alleging that the other Prime Ministers, going back to the first three Prime Ministers who were also UMNO Presidents, Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tun Razak and Tun Hussein, as well as Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Najib Razak, Muhyiddin Yassin and Ismail Sabri had also “conned” the Malays?
Is Hadi referring to all the MCA and MIC leaders since the founding of the nation, and the Gerakan leaders, as conmen and “plunderers”?
Can Hadi name the non-Malays and non-Muslims “plunderers” who had “conned” the Malays for over half a century, to the extent that the Malays need to be saved?
Or does Hadi think that the social media of the day give him to right to make wild and unsubstantiated allegations and preposterous claims?
It is now some six months since he made the preposterous allegation that the DAP was promoting Islamophobia, but Hadi has not been able to give an iota of evidence to substantiate his preposterous allegation, despite the fact that DAP had worked with PAS for over a decade to bring about a better Malaysia.
Hadi still owed me four matters, viz:
- After the 15th General Election, he accused the DAP of promoting Islamophobia. It is now some six months since he made the preposterous allegation, and despite my many challenges, he had not been able to furnish an iota of evidence to substantiate his wild allegation. He is the only political leader in Malaysia who makes allegations without evidence.
- During the Teluk Intan by-election in May 2014, Hadi reminded PAS members that DAP had helped PAS when the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition tried to oust the party from ruling Kelantan during the 1977 Kelantan Emergency. He said although there were so many things different between DAP and PAS, like what is halal (permissible) and haram (forbidden), alcohol, pork, and hudud, the two parties agree with each other in eradicating poverty, cruelty, and corruption, among others. Was DAP promoting Islamophobia in coming to PAS’ help in 1977?
- Hadi should know by now that the DAP was not the mastermind or had anything to do with the 2018 episode when the Pakatan Harapan government under the Prime Minister, Tun Mahathir Mohamad had tried to ratify the International Covenant of the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (ICERD). Is Hadi going to apologise for his wild and ferocious attacks on the DAP as the “mastermind” of the attempted ratification?
- Since 2018, Hadi has not been able to cite a single a case of the 55 out of 57 Organisation of Islamic Co-operation (OIC) Muslim countries where Islam was undermined or a single case of the 36 out of 38 countries with monarchical system where the monarchical system was affected as a result of the ratification of ICERD.
Now, Hadi has committed a fifth sin, to allege that non-Muslim and non-Malay “plunderers” who give and receive bribes, had conned the Malays and Muslims of their rights for over a half a century. Can Hadi name names?
I am giving Hadi the benefit of the doubt and I am giving him 48 hours to name names of the non-Muslim and non-Malay “plunderers” who “give and receive bribes”, conning the Malays and Muslims of their rights for over half a century.
While working on his answer, can Hadi also explain why ten of the 20 most corrupt nations in the world in the Transparency International 2022 Corruption Perception Index covering 180 countries are Muslim-majority countries if the majority of the corrupt in Malaysia are non-Muslims and non-bumiputeras?
